$55 Biggest at PokerStars with a $2 million guarantee

$55 Biggest at PokerStars

In November, PokerStars hosted a tournament called Biggest with a $55 buy-in. The event had phases, and players fought for their share of a $1 000 000 guarantee. In total, the tournament collected 20 551 entries, which made it possible to break the claimed guarantee so that the prize pool reached the mark of $1 027 550.

All 2 137 participants who moved into the second game day entered the ITM zone. Those lucky ones who managed to reach the final table received excellent payouts, having spent as little as $55 to play.

Since PokerStars hadn’t published any announcements regarding that tournament on the official website, many players took it as a one-time promotion. But the other day, another Biggest event with the same buy-in appeared in the lobby; however, its guarantee was doubled: $2 000 000.

Seeing that the tournament has phases, there are 9 flights during the day. To move to Phase 2, you need to hold out 16 levels in Phase 1. Each level lasts 10 minutes. No more than three entries can be made in one flight; late registration runs an hour and a half (90 minutes).

Phase 2 takes place on December 21, and all the participants will get in the money. Players are also able to qualify for the $55 Biggest through the special satellites worth $5.50 or $11. Each of them has a prize pool featuring 2-5 tickets to Phase 1.

As far as Sit & Go fans are concerned, they can qualify for the event via the SNGs for $7.50 and $18.75. No matter how you will qualify for the key tournament – through a satellite or by paying a direct buy-in of $55. Good luck everyone!

I’ve been working in the Cardmates team since 2018. Started playing poker the same way most people usually do – socially, with friends and fellow students. I adored those exciting poker nights but never thought my life would be connected with this game, even tangentially.
