You won't be surprised by the news about postponement or cancellation of tournaments. However, Cardmates continues to inform about cancellation of live poker festivals. This time, the organizers of 888poker Live Sochi Weekend reported that series was canceled from the schedule.
888poker live Sochi was scheduled to be held on 2-5 April with 6 different events. Main Event guarantee was supposed to be ₽5 000 000 ($55 419), and the winner was able to get an additional prize in the form of a package for 888poker Live Barcelona series.

888poker representatives consulted with its partners and decided to cancel this series. All players who have won the tickets for event through online satellites will be paid compensation in the amount of $500.
The holding of Sochi Poker Festival is also in doubt. It is planned to be held on 17-27 April. However, there is no information about its cancellation.
