ACR Poker Players Massively Received Dangerous Emails from Scammers

ACR Poker users massively receive scam emails

ACR Poker players have received massive amount of malicious emails from fraudsters. The "Christmas gifts" in the mail reportedly contained unsecured links that led to the download of malware.

The emails came from [email protected] address. It is worth noting that the official mail of the WPN network looks like this – [email protected].

In the email, the fraudsters asked to send them documents to verify the identity and even offered to record a video of the gameplay. With the help of dangerous software that could be downloaded from the links in the letter, criminals could gain access to the player's account.

Representatives of the WPN network (which includes ACR Poker) ask players to forward dangerous emails to their official mail and in no case open the links.

How not to get "hooked" by fraudsters who act on behalf of ACR Poker?

Carefully check the mail from which you receive letters from ACR. The sender address must end with @winningpokernetwork.com

Links in the email must start with https://. Try to move the mouse cursor over the link – the address of the official website of the poker room should appear there.

In the real letters, representatives of the room will never rush players to perform any actions "here and now". One will usually be forced to hurry in fraudulent emails.
