American wins historic first bracelet WSOP Online
On Wednesday, July 1, WSOP Online 2020 debuted at WSOP.com with a tournament worth $500. The event brought together 1 715 entries that formed a prize pool of $771 000.
Phil Hellmuth, playing under the "Lumestackin" nickname, was a main focus of attention, and his plan, probably, was to win his sixteenth gold bracelet.

Hellmuth showed an excellent play and stopped just two steps from the final table. The last hand for Phil turned out to be the hand in which the poker player shoved with Q-Q. His all-in was called by Shawn Daniels who had A-K. The flop brought another king, and Phil finished the event in 11th place ($7 871).
Who became the tournament winner?
Young American poker player Jonathan "Art.Vandelay" Dokler became the tournament winner. Until recently, there was only $105 000 (won in live tournaments) on his record. The lion's share of this amount Jonathan received for finishing first the WPT Borgata tournament in January of this year, which brought him $100 000.
It should also be mentioned that a few months ago, Dokler already won a gold trophy at WSOP.com. It was a gold ring WSOP-C, which he got for winning the Monster Stack event. Now, the player added the WSOP 2020 gold bracelet to his collection.
