Asian Poker Tour will be held online at GGpoker
The large series Asian Poker Tour 2020 was planned to be held in March in Taiwan. For obvious reasons, it was postponed to May and the tournaments’ guarantees were cancelled. The organizers assured that the poker festival would take place, no matter what.
As it turns out, it will be held in online. The organizers of Asian Poker Tour agreed with the poker network GGNetwork to conduct the series online.
APT 2020 will take place at GGpoker between 29 April and 10 May, and all interested players will be able to take part in it. A large number of participants are expected from Japan, since the national holidays will be held in the country during the series.

At the moment, there is no complete schedule, but the key events are already known:
- Main Event for $500.
- Championship for $800.
- PLO Championship for $400.
- Short Deck Championship for $400.
The holding of Asian Poker Tour on the world stage can popularize the series even more. Since it was held offline, only the Asian players knew about it. Now, the players from any poker room of GGNetwork can take part in it.
APT is not the first series that will be held online during the coronavirus epidemic. We previously wrote about the holding of WPT Online, Irish Poker, Poker Masters at PartyPoker, and BSOP Online at PokerStars.
