Mikita Badziakouski was one of the main favorites to win and, as a result, met these expectations. Before the heads-up started, "fish2013" and "iambest2" decided to split the prize money; thus, both players received almost equal payouts: $222 462 and $221 563, respectively.

After splitting the money, the poker players agreed to go all-in preflop every hand until the winner is determined. In the last hand of the event, "iambest2" moved all-in with 9-2, while Mikita was dealt 7-4. The 3-А-4 flop was promising for "iambest2", as he could hit a straight, but the following streets assured Badziakouski’s victory: a pair of fours he collected on the flop was enough to beat his opponent.
