Bill Perkins is leading in the most expensive poker tournament

Bill Perkins 2019

The first day of Helping Hand for Charity tournament at Triton Poker Super High Roller London 2019 series ended. This tournament became the most expensive one in the poker history, because its entrance cost £1,000,000. In total, 54 participants registered in the event and the prize pool reached a value of £54,000,000.

After finishing the first day, 36 people remained in the tournament. Bill Perkins is a chip leader and he currently has 3,560,000 in his stack, which means 178 big blinds.

"I was card dead or flopped bad and I was frustrated for most of the day. I was bitching, I’m not gonna lie.”

Timothy Adams and Dan Smith are closest to a chip leader, they took the 2nd and the 3rd place in a chip count.
