Car dealership owner outplayed Shaun Deeb and won WSOP bracelet

Rafael Lebron 2021

The final table of WSOP Event #14 in Seven-Card Stud finished on Friday. Four hours of play was enough to determine a new champion.

The owner of car dealership Rafael Lebron managed to become the winner. This is the second bracelet in Rafael's career (he won the first trophy at WSOP 2016 and earned $170 000).

After the victory, Lebron said that he wanted to win the second bracelet, but he didn't expect to achieve this goal so soon. Last year, Rafael didn’t play at WSOP, because the series was held online. However, this year, he decided to come to Vegas again and he made the right decision.

An interesting fact is that the champion managed to outplay Shaun Deeb. At 5-max table, Lebron fought against Deeb and Christina Hill. Christina folded her cards, but Shaun fought until the end and lost his entire stack.

After knocking out the four-time WSOP winner, Rafael gained even more confidence. The American continued to increase his stack and eventually got the victory. For the first place, Lebron received gold bracelet and $82 000.

Final table results

  • Rafael Lebron – $82 262
  • David Williams – $50 842
  • David Moskowitz – $35 521
  • Christina Hill – $25 344
  • Shaun Deeb – $18 475
  • Nicholas Seiken – $13 766
