CEO of PartyPoker parent company resigns

CEO of PartyPoker parent company

Recently, the big changes have been happening in Entain company that includes PartyPoker. The company received a lot of interesting offers and it even used some of them.

Nevertheless, there were offers that didn’t satisfy the company and it refused them. For example, Entain refused to sell its shares to the big gambling holding MGM Resorts International.

After such refusal, the value of their shares increased by more than a third, and the prices of shares of its partner companies also increased.

Later, it became known that Entain CEO Shay Segev decided to resign. In six months, he will move to a new post in the sports streaming service DAZN.

New acting Entain CEO Barry Gibson commented on Shegev's resignation. He stated that DAZN made him a very lucrative offer, which Shay couldn’t refuse, but Entain wasn’t able to offer him the same.

This is the second change of Entain CEO in the past year. At the end of July, Kenneth Alexander, who headed GVC Holdings (Entain) for more than 13 years, also left his post.
