Chance Kornuth won $353 890 in the Wynn Summer Classic tournament

Popular poker player Chance Kornuth continues to build his bankroll and recuperate from the epic and drawn-out heads-up battle against Phil Galfond.

Some days ago, he pleased his fans with another victory in a major live event of the Wynn Summer Classic series, which started in the Wynn casino.

$3 500 Wynn Summer Classic tournament with a guaranteed prize money of $1 000 000 collected 530 entries, which beat the guarantee. Due to this, the prize fund reached the mark of $1 711 900.

For the first place, Chance Kornuth earned an impressive amount of $353 890. Israeli player Avi Cohen became a runner-up with a payout of $231 100.    

The following players managed to enter final table: WSOP bracelet owner Justin Saliba (7th place) and WPT Player of the Year Brian Altman (4th place). Except for runner-up Avi Cohen and Argentinian player Ezequiel Waigel (9th place), the rest participants of the final table were from America.
