Chinese poker player and billionaire Paul Phua was acquitted in the court
In 2014 the FIFA World Cup was held and the bets were actively accepted in the bookmaker’s offices. One of these clubs turned out to be illegal and underground, and Paul Phua was accused for its organization. Two criminal cases were launched against the poker player. American criminal case was cancelled a couple of years ago due to the fact that civil servants didn’t allow Paul Phua to prove his innocence.

The judicial process in Macau took longer and it ended only two weeks ago. The lawyers of Chinese billionaire did a great job and invited several witnesses to the courthouse who confirmed the innocence of Paul Phua. According to the court decision, Paul was fully acquitted and he proved that he has nothing to do with accepting the bets in underground betting clubs.
