Chino Rheem won Main Event PCA 2019

The first major live poker series of 2019 has been completed. Main Even of the PCA 2019 with a buy-in of $10 300 collected 865 entries. The winner of the competition became David “Chino” Rheem (US, Los Angeles), who got a prestigious trophy and $1 567 100. It’s the second biggest cash in his poker career.

38-year-old American hit top-6 of ME PCA 2019 being a chipleader, and he managed to lead the game of the 4-day race till the end. Chino showed remarkable game and was very confident, but at the same time he tried to joke to dissipate the tension at the table.

"You just gotta have fun while you work. That's the best way. That's the best work ethic. You gotta have fun while you do it."- Rheem said.

Runner-up of the tournament became Daniel Strelitz (US) who got $951 480 of prize money for his game. Daniel’s A 2 failed to Chino’s 5 5 in the final heads-up. The player had one of the smallest stack at the start of the day but it did not prevent him from finishing second.

Scott Wellenbach from Canada took third place and $671 240. He showed an excellent play, but was busted out by future winner of the tournament. The player is going to give all his prize money for charity.
