ClubGG review
The Asian poker network GGNetwork has created its own version of the club poker application: ClubGG. This app was created in January 2021 and the development has every chance to create serious competition in the mobile poker application market.
In ClubGG, you can play poker with friends for free in private clubs. The application is very easy to install and is available on all devices, including Android and iOS. Players can create private Hold'em and Omaha tables and invite their friends.
The app is currently in beta testing and many features are not yet available. ClubGG app users play with virtual currency: Diamonds. Diamonds can be purchased in the app store, you will need them in order to pay with the organizers of games and clubs.
Application users can use the hand history, as well as the built-in HUD. The gameplay is very similar to that of the popular poker room GGPoker.
Software review
The poker room ClubGG is designed as a mobile application, therefore it has a vertical orientation and an interface typical for poker apps. The advantage of the platform is more advanced graphics and an extended set of user settings.
The ClubGG interface is made in dark red colors, which are similar to the GGPoker color scheme. In the main lobby, the player sees the icons of the clubs he is a member of. You can scroll through them and select the ones of interest.
The player's nickname, his current balance, the size of the bad beat jackpot (if it is valid in the club) are displayed at the top of the club lobby. The lobby itself displays several tables and basic filters to find a suitable game. The format of the game is displayed above them.
The table icon contains all the necessary information: game format, blinds, number of players and table activity time. For the convenience of users, active tables are marked with animated yellow arrows.
The table design is very similar to the GGPoker mobile client. Players can use emoticons, bet buttons, numeric keypad and vertical slider. All СlubGG tables have portrait orientation.
You can play at ClubGG at three tables simultaneously. For multi-tabling, you need to install the application on a PC and use emulators. When installing ClubGG on a computer, you can use HUD through special converters.
The Club GG Poker application is available for download worldwide in the App Store and Google Play. Five buttons provide access to the following sections:
- Shop – to buy "Diamonds".
- Inbox – messages from the system and clubs.
- Home is the main lobby.
- Career – player statistics.
- Profile – user profile with hand history.
How to create a club in СlubGG
It will not be difficult for players to create a new club in СlubGG. On the start page of the application, you can choose to either search for a club or create a club. To create a club, follow the step-by-step instructions:
- Log in the poker app.
- Click "Create Club".
- Choose a name and an avatar.
- Click "Create".

After that you can see your created club with ID and other details.
In ClubGG, players have access to the following settings:
- Table name and table size;
- Blind growth rate, ante, buy-in;
- Rake size;
- All-in insurance, Run it twice, desk time;
- For MTT: guarantee, payout structure, breaks.
- Restrictions on IP, location, device, chat operation.
Traffic and game availability
The game is available on ClubGG in the following formats:
- NLH;
- PLO4;
- PLO5.
At the moment, the poker application is in beta testing and it is too early to talk about the amount of traffic. Also, Chinese poker is not yet available, but in the near future the developers will add this poker format.
Rake scheme
There is no welcome bonus or rakeback in the ClubGG app, but club creators can add promotions themselves to attract players. The administrator also independently determines the size of the rake at different tables.
Basically, rake is from 3% to 5% and CAP is from 0.1 BB to 3 BB. This rake structure can be found in many Chinese poker apps.
Limits
The game is played in No Limit Hold'em and Pot Limit Omaha formats. Limits and traffic depend on the selected club. This question can be clarified with the manager.
On average, the game is played at limits from NL10 ($0.05 / $0.10) to NL1000 ($5 / $10) in Hold'em and PLO10 – PLO1000 at Omaha tables.
