Connor Drinan wins gold bracelet in the last WSOP 2020 event
This year, Connor Drinan has set a record at the SCOOP 2020 by winning 5 titles during the series. It is unlikely that the poker player hoped to repeat his success at the World Series of Poker, since winning 5 bracelets at once within the WSOP Online was almost impossible. Connor did get one bracelet, though. The American seized his final opportunity to win the gold bracelet in the last WSOP Online event.
The final day of WSOP Event # 83 worth $10 000 lasted just two and a half hours, but it was enough time for Connor to become the last WSOP Online champion. Overall, there were 800 entries, which formed a prize pool of $8 720 300.

In heads-up, Connor Drinan was opposed by Daniyar Aubakirov from Kazakhstan. Daniyar had a chance to get the first gold bracelet for his country, but Connor was a very strong rival. In the last hand of the tournament, Drinan’s ace-nine beat Daniyar’s ace-jack:
The river brought nine, improving Connor Drinan to two pair and securing his victory in the event. The winner received the gold bracelet and $1 423 000 in prize money. Being a runner-up, Aubakirov also got a massive payout of $1 041 000.
Furthermore, Connor Drinan will also receive $100 000 from Daniel Negreanu, as the Canadian lost a side bet to the American. Before the WSOP Online began, Negreanu offered players a $100 000 bracelet side bet. Connor was among those who accepted Daniel’s challenge. Given that Drinan captured the gold bracelet, he will receive a payment from KidPoker.
