Dan Smith aims to collect $1.5 million of donation

Dan Smith’s Double Up Drive charity event started on December 3, and it will last until December 27. The poker player plans to collect $1.5 million for 12 charitable organizations.

Last year, Dan’s team was able to collect $5.4 million which was donated to the carefully selected organizations. This year, the organizations such as Helen Keller International and International Refugee Assistance Project were added in the list.

Double Up Drive – the 6th annual charity event and Dan Smith wrote about it in his twitter:

The poker player carries out this charity activity together with Stephen Chidwick, Matt Ashton, Aaron Merchak and Martin Crowley. Dan Smith repeatedly demonstrated the poker community his commitment to the philanthropy. Thus, he collected millions of dollars for different organizations over the past five years.
