Daniel Geeng Crowned Top Player at PGT PLO II 2023 in Vegas
The second edition of the PGT PLO Series II 2023 Omaha Championship has successfully ended in Las Vegas. The champion of the Main Event was the American Daniel Geeng, who beat the player from Bulgaria Veselin Karakitukov in the heads-up of a tournament for $25,000 and made his biggest cash in career – $487,500. A total of 75 players took part in the tournament, and the prize pool amounted to $1,875,000.
It is interesting that in this event Daniel had to take either first or second place – and then this would provide him with an additional reward for the best results in the series. He really wanted to achieve this result, and this motivation helped him in the game.

This win, along with three more ITM finishes, allowed Geeng to accumulate enough points on the overall series leaderboard to secure the title of "Best Player of the Series". This achievement also earned the American an additional $25,000, bringing his total prize money for the series to $876,160.
