Daniel Negreanu’s earnings at the WSOP 2019
Even before the WSOP 2019 started, Daniel Negreanu shared his plan on how to become a player of the year. The poker player decided that participation in the largest possible number of events would bring him the maximal profit.
Daniel Negreanu was selling his shares at three buy-in levels:
- Low: up to $1 500.
- Medium: from $1 500 to $10 000.
- High: over $10 000.
All his shares were sold out within just a few minutes, and fans started waiting the anniversary World Series of Poker.
Negreanu’s results at the WSOP 2019
At the WSOP 2019, KidPoker took part in 58 events but managed to get into the cash in 16 of them only. In total, the poker player spent $760 000 on buy-ins, and won $2 042 752. Daniel received $1 228 752 of net profit with the ROI indicator of 168%.
Low package up to $1 500
Negreanu played 29 tournaments on low limits for a total amount of $48 800. He was able to get to the ITM zone only three times and his prize money was little:
- $3 553 in the $1 500 PLO Bounty tournament.
- $4 360 in the $1 500 No Limit Hold'em tournament.
- $2 252 in the WSOP Online Knockout Bounty event.
The ROI indicator of the low-limit package was negative: -48%.

Medium package from $1 500 to $10 000
On medium limits, Negreanu played 24 events and spent $186 200 on buy-ins. In total, he managed to enter the prize zone six times and win $291 579. He has recorded few final tables:
- Second place in the Seven Card Stud Championship event ($151 700)
- Fifth place in the Razz Championship event ($69 000)
- Sixth place in the Super Turbo bounty tournament ($52 000)
The ROI of this package was 56%.
High package: over $10 000
High package turned out to be the most profitable for KidPoker. Thus, Daniel played five tournaments, but was able to make money only in one of them. That was enough to be in the black since the player finished second in the $100K High Roller tournament and won $1 725 838.
Thanks to this tournament, the ROI of the high package was 228%, but the poker player was upset, as he did not manage to win the gold bracelet.
