Danny Tang Outplays Isaac Haxton for Fifth Triton Poker Victory

Danny Tang wins 5th Triton poker title

The prestigious Triton Open series in Monte Carlo continues to create new champions, and for some players this is not the first title at all. Danny Tang was able to win his fifth championship in the $50,000 event in the 7-max format.

The Triton series has become incredibly successful for Danny, as he received all his big wins and trophies precisely at these tournaments. And the most interesting thing: he won all these five titles this year! Tang became the Triton champion in Vietnam, Cyprus, London, and now in Monte Carlo. He is confidently approaching today's record holder – Jason Koon with his nine titles.

The most interesting confrontation in this tournament was the final heads-up, where Danny played against the famous Isaac Haxton. It is worth noting the huge support group for the future champion, who loudly cheered for his victory.

Ike Haxton continues his mega-successful year (contending for the title of the best player with Nacho Barbero). This time he managed to get another seven-figure prize payout, already the sixth in 2023. His prize money for this year has already exceeded $15,000,000.
