David Haye will release a documentary poker film

The British world champion boxer, as well as the owner of WBA and WBS champion belts David Haye finished his boxing career in 2018 and decided to become a professional poker player.

Haye began to practice his poker play with professional British players such as Katie Swift, Jeff Kimber and Joe Beevers.   

Throughout the year, he had to train in order to win Goliath Poker tournament in 2019.

In 2019, he managed to get to the prize zone in the tournament with $530 buy-in at Manilla poker series. At that time, he earned only $740. As for Goliath Main Event, he failed and took only the 40th place with $2 570 of prize money.

In the near future, the famous boxer announced the release of a documentary film called "David vs Goliath" about his poker path.

David Haye tells in the film about his poker training and compares his experience as a boxer with poker experience.

According to David’s words, his sports experience is "worth nothing" at the poker table, where the psychology and intellect decides everything. However, he also finds a similarity with boxing and considers the line of failures the necessary thing for a good play.

So far, the total prize money of David Haye's entire poker career reached the mark of $3 300.
