Douglas Polk accuses Global Poker Awards of bias
Douglas Polk, who is the famous American poker player and poker blogger, said on his Twitter that Global Poker Awards organizers are prejudiced against him.
He argued this fact in the following way: he has the largest number of views among all poker bloggers, but GPA didn’t include him in any of the nominations.
Polk admitted that last year he posted 74 poker videos which collected 35 million views. These videos included the analysis of poker hands, news and other materials on various poker topics.
Doug Polk examined the list of nominees for “Vlogger of the Year” title at Global Poker Awards and offered his own rating of poker video bloggers which based on the number of YouTube views in 2019.

In addition, Polk wrote on Twitter that some of the nominees appeared in the list by mistake. He noted that Jonathan Little analyses poker hands and almost doesn't make vlogs about offline games.
Apart from nomination “Vlogger of the Year”, Polk also wondered why he wasn’t nominated for “Media Content of the Year” title.
Global Poker Awards ceremony will be held at PokerGo studios on 6 March in Las Vegas.
Last year, the similar situation happened with Douglas, but everything went in a different way. Polk was nominated for “Vlogger of the Year” title, but he didn’t make any poker vlog in 2018.
