Sam Greenwood at EPT Prague 2019

The second Single-Day High Roller tournament for €25 000 was held at EPT series in Prague. The event collected 66 entries (including 23 reentries) and its total prize pool was €1 584 660.

In order to determine the winner, it took more than 14 hours and 23 full levels of the game. The outcome of tournament was determined in one hand after Sam Greenwood agreed to a heads-up deal with Steve O'Dwyer

The guys agreed to split the money in the following way: €411 311 for the first place and €384 969 for the second one, and in order to determine the champion – it was needed to play one hand.

However, in order to keep things fair, the guys decided that Steve, as a chip leader, would get not one hand, but the two ones in this hand. But, this didn’t help him, because only one hand was enough for Greenwood to beat his high roller colleague and become the champion of event.
