Flip & Go Millionaire at GGPoker: How to Play in the $1,000,000 GTD Tournament
From November 1 to November 11, GGPoker will host the second season of the Flip & Go Millionaire promo. For eleven days, players will have the opportunity to earn a starting stack for a grand tournament with a guarantee of $1,000,000. All the action will take place in the popular Flip & Go format.
What is Flip & Go?
Unique tournaments on GGPoker are held in two stages:
- Flip Stage – players receive three cards in their hands, one of which must be burned (discarded). After that, everyone at the table goes all-in. The game continues until there is only one winner left at the table;
- Go Stage – the final stage, which takes place like a classic freezeout. All players who survive the Flip stage are automatically entered into the ITM zone in the Go stage.
As a rule, up to the second stage, there are 8 Flip Stages every hour, in which you can multiply your stack by 5 (make up to five entries). Stacks of players who managed to survive several Flip stages are combined and transferred to the final stage of Go.
Starting from November 1, the first "flips" will start in the poker room as part of the promo. Flip Stages will be held every hour and the buy-in cost is $11.
Players can qualify for the Flip Stage through $0.11 step satellites and $0.55 / $1.10 buy-in satellites.
The Flip stages will run until November 11th, after which all players' earned stacks will be combined and carried over to the final event. The Go stage with a $1,000,000 guarantee starts on November 11th at 19:00 UTC.
In 2022, 96,384 entries were made to the Flip Stage. 4,263 players competed in the final tournament and the prize pool of the Go stage was $1,006,690. The tournament ended with a deal, according to which the winner was the player from Germany "ifhedieshedies". He received $54,929 as a prize.
