French Pro Thomas Santerne Wins GGMillion$ and Continues Month-Long Upswing

Frenchman Thomas Santerne became a real sensation in December 2023. Offline this month, he has already managed to take 2nd place in the $10K High Roller WSOP Paradise (+$254,400) and 6th place in the $1.5K Mystery Millions WSOP Paradise (+$101,000). So a series in the Bahamas was a real success for him. Also he became the runner-up in online GGMillion$ event at GGPoker (+$207,000).

And now Thomas finally won this prestigious online event called GGMillion$. Frenchman started the final table as the chip leader and surprised the commentators and the audience with his bright play. 

Santerne went head-to-head against the player from Kazakhstan's Shyngis Satubayev (known as "3DTemujiN"), having a six-time advantage, which allowed him to confidently win. In the final hand, AKs of Thomas collected a flush on the flop against a pocket pair of kings of Shyngis.

For his victory, Thomas received a large prize money of $289,015. It is also worth noting that this is his second title in this event.
