Gambling regulator in Denmark blocks gambling sites
The European gambling regulators often try to restrict or prohibit the work of poker rooms or sites related to online gambling.
In mid-April, the French gambling regulator ARJEL encouraged poker sites not to lure the players with attractive promotions and bonuses in order not to stimulate people to ludomania.
Recently, the gambling regulator in Denmark published a blacklist of 16 sites related to the gaming industry. Internet service providers in Denmark should now block these sites.

Another site that voluntarily stopped providing its services in Denmark was also prohibited. According to preliminary data, there are no poker rooms among these sites.
Nevertheless, not only gambling sites were blocked, but also the resources on which the virtual items for online gaming were sold.
In recent years, the Danish regulator Spillemyndigheden has blocked more than 90 sites related to the gaming industry.
One of the main criteria for blocking these sites is their focused work on attracting the players from Denmark.
According to the words of regulators, such work includes the promotions and events related to Danish social topics, as well as support in Danish language.
