Georgiy “Pendall” Filippovich won Winter Series Main Event for $530

Winter Series Main Event with $530 buy-in was held at PokerStars. The tournament collected 3 864 entries and its prize pool amounted to $1 932 000.

At the beginning of final day, the Russian player Georgiy “Pendall” Filippovich was the chip leader. His stack amounted to 120 BB. The Bulgarian poker pro under the nickname "Freshmannn" was the closest rival of Filippovich. His stack was 100 BB.

Georgiy played tournament in Nottingham, where PartyPoker MILLIONS UK series is currently taking place. He got into prizes of Main Event and won $40 000 for the 23rd place. However, he was luckier online.

Filippovich became the winner of Winter Series Main Event and won $249 000. In heads-up, he made a deal with Brazilian player “botteonpoker”. “botteonpoker” earned $224 000 for the second place. "M4GPI3" from Ukraine took the 3rd place and got $140 000.

The famous poker player Connor “blanconegro” Drinan took the 6th place in Winter Series Main Event and enriched with $36 000. The Russian player under the nickname "Flying Smile" took the 9th place and got $18 000.  

Main Events for $55 and $5 200 were also finished at the series. Ole "wizowizo" Schemion became the champion of the most expensive Main Event. The Brazilian player "luishen.p" won the cheap event and earned $131 400.

The Hungarian player "mikuasz" took the second place in Main Event for $55 ($94 000), and "kylix42" ($67 000) finished third.
