GGPoker's Winter Giveaway Series: Celebrate with $50M Holiday Festival and Million-Dollar Freeroll
The most popular poker room in the world will hold a grand holiday festival called Winter Giveaway Series. The Christmas and New Year's tale for players will start on GGPoker on December 15th and will continue until January 15th, 2024.
In just one month, a fantastic $50,000,000 will be given away in tournaments and promotions. Four million dollars from the total prize fund will go to increase the guarantees in regular events, and another $1,000,000 will be played in the New Year's freeroll for all participants.
The first tournaments within the Winter Giveaway Series have already begun on December 10. Buy-ins start at $11, and the guarantee in the biggest event (WGS Grand Finale) will be $2,024,000. To emphasize the scale of the festival, GGPoker added several multi-flight tournaments with million prize funds to the schedule at once:
- $400 "Winter is Coming" Opener with $1m GTD – the final day is on December 18;
- $125 Christmas Day Mystery Bounty with $1M GTD – the final day is on December 25;
- $50 Global MILLION$ New Year Bounty Bash with $1M GTD – the final day is on January 7;
- Fantastic Main Event $250 WGS Grand Finale with a huge $2,024,000 GTD – the final day is on January 15th.
Omaha fans are waiting for the multi-day Omaholic MILLION$ New Year Bounty with a buy-in of $54 and a guarantee of $250,000. In addition, in the tournament list you can find several more large tournaments with guarantees up to $500,000 – the full schedule of the series is already available on the website and in the lobby of GGPoker.
However, one of the most anticipated events for many players will be the $1,000,000 guaranteed freeroll. The free tournament will be the largest one in the history of GGPoker.
Qualifying tournaments for the New Year's freeroll with a guarantee of $1,000,000 will start on December 20. All those who manage to qualify will meet in the tournament on January 1 at 18:00 UTC. The schedule of satellite tournaments and other details will appear in the lobby of the poker room shortly after the official start of the festival.
It is also worth noting that GGPoker took care of players who do not yet have a large bankroll – in the lobby you can find many satellites and step-satellites with buy-ins from $1.50.
