Glazer Сontinues to Сonquer WCOOP: Another Victory
The World Championship of Online Poker (WCOOP) is coming to an end. The last tournament will be played on October 4, and therefore the fight for the first line of the general leaderboard has entered the final stretch. The current leader in this fight is the British Benny Glazer.
He wrote in the middle of last week that he had a cold, and as a result went the next two days without a win. But this weekend the Briton managed to win another tournament. Glazer won the $1,050 NLHE 6-max for $38,900 in prize money. With this, "RunGodlike" also regained the lead in the overall WCOOP leaderboard. Now he has 1,820 points.
My 7th WCOOP title of this series 😁😁

Unprecedent scenes!
Also nice to win it in this stacked FT/field!
COOP title #25 🏆
And now still 4 more days to go, to try to win that Player of the series overall leaderboard! 🚀 pic.twitter.com/kgBKMJCwHE
Benny demonstrates incredible results in this series and sets one record after another. During September, he managed to chalk up as many as seven victories in the WCOOP series, and thus his total number of such titles became fifteen (which is a record).
But that’s not all – if we also talk about the championships of the PokerStars Spring Series, then Glazer is a clear record holder with a total result of 25 COOP titles.
Also over the weekend, another Briton showed a decent result: Patrick Leonard added another champion title to his collection, so this is his third victory in this series.
