According to Gus, the haircut was supposed to help him intimidate opponents in the tournament. But, Hansen didn't manage to get into cash at the Poker Players Championship.

Since the new hairstyle did not help the poker player to achieve the desired success, he decided to change his haircut again and took over the razor himself:
