Heads up battle between Perkins and Galfond
In November, Phil Galfond offered the poker players to make a wager according to which it is necessary to play 50 000 hands profitably at RIO Poker. This should be done at the high limits from $100/ $200 to $300/ $600. Bill Perkins became the first player who responded to Phil Galfond’s challenge.
Bill demanded from Galfond only one condition: to stop the marathon if a certain amount is lost. $400 000 became the agreed amount and RIO Poker owner agreed to that.
Now, Perkins and Galfond will crush the cash tables at RIO Poker. They need to play 50 000 hands in PLO discipline and if one of the players loses $400 000, the bet will be automatically stopped.

What is at stake?
Galfond agrees that a streamer from Perkins team can sit at their table at any time. If Perkins and his streamers win, Galfond will pay him $800 000. Otherwise, Galfond can expect to get $200 000.
Phil Galfond is not going to stop and he plans several heads-up challenges at once. So, we will see other interesting battles in the future.
