Hellmuth plans to take revenge on Dwan at High Stakes Duel III
In the High Stakes Duel show, Tom Dwan beat Phil Hellmuth in the eighth match. Before that, Phil outplayed Esfandiari and Negreanu three times, as well as Nick Wright once.
In the first round of the current series, Hellmuth and Wright paid $50 000 each to play in the first match. The owner of 15 WSOP bracelets took the prize pool of $100 000. Wright abandoned the rematch, by granting opportunity for Dwan to enter the 2nd round. Tom Dwan invested $100 000 to the prize pool for participation in the game and won the match.

According to the show rules, Phil could use the right to revenge and Tom agreed to it. As always, the match will take place at the PokerGO studio and will be streamed exclusively in the PokerGO app. The highlight reel will be freely available on the Youtube channel.
If Dwan wins the rematch, there is a good chance that Hellmuth’s play on the show will finish. Due to the fact that WSOP is fast approaching, Phil will focus on this by giving opportunity to Phil Ivey and other well-known players to fight against Dwan.
