Interestingly, despite O'Dwyer's well-documented dominance in poker, this is only his second title win in the Triton Series. His latest triumph allowed him to join the elite club of Triton's multi-title winners.
O'Dwyer's connection with Monaco goes back to the European Poker Tour in 2013, where he firmly established his status as a top-tier poker professional. Since then, he has been a consistent force to reckon with, conquering numerous tournaments and solidifying his position as a regular contender in the Triton Series.
"Winning is nice. I’ve been waiting to get this second Triton title for a while," commented the champion.
For Dimitar Danchev, this was a maiden venture into the Triton festival. Despite missing out on the top spot, his impressive performance and notable $299,000 prize ensured his debut was anything but forgettable.
