Italian player turns €150 into €150 000 at ME 888poker Live Madrid
The Main Event 888poker Live Madrid, which took place in the capital of Spain, has finally ended. Poker players from different countries came to Madrid to take part in the tournament and fight for the victory.
There were plenty of regulars and amateurs at the poker tables. Poker attracts novice players primarily with big winnings, and it often happens that you can earn them by putting small amount of money at risk.
The champion of the Main Event 888poker Live Madrid confirmed this not merely in words but in actions. Italian poker player Marco Biavaschi qualified for the tournament through the satellite for €150 and managed to win the main prize amounting to €150 000.

Famous poker professionals didn't play at the final table, but there were few Spanish regulars. None of them was able to reach the heads-up, and the Italian was opposed by Daniyar Aubakirov from Kazakhstan.
In the final hand of the tournament, Marco went all-in with Q-10, and Daniyar called his rival’s bet with K-2. The flop showed Q-10-8, giving Kazakh a silver lining to hit a straight, but the turn brought 2, and then 5 appeared on the river, having ensured Biavaschi’s victory.
The prize money Marco Biavaschi received for taking down the event (€150 000) is player’s largest winning in life. Throughout his appearances in live tournament poker, the guy has got in the money only 5 times – his total poker earnings are equal to $13 000.
After the successful performance at the Main Event, this figure increased significantly and now Marco’s overall payouts have six digits. Congratulations to the champion. Play poker and win big!
