Ivey will play with Dwan at WPT Heads-Up Championship

Ivey and Dwan will play together

In June, all poker fans have the opportunity to see Tom Dwan and Phil Ivey at the same poker table. The reason for this is the WPT Heads-Up Championship, which is hosted by the Chinese poker room Poker King.

The event will be held in a knockout format with 32 participants and a buy-in of $25 000. The organizers plan to hold the tournament from 18 to 22 June. A special feature is that some of the players will play live, and some at online tables. This is the first time this mixed format has been used, so there is no clear idea yet of how it will be.

At the moment, the names of two participants are known. We are talking about Ivey and Dwan, who are Poker King ambassadors and will play in this event. Due to the coronavirus, there were no major live tournaments and we have not seen Tom and Phil in the camera lens for a long time.

The venue will be the resort town of Cabo San Lucas in Mexico. It will be possible to follow everything that happens on Twitch and YouTube with the help of live broadcasts.
