.Jason Koon 2022

The Madrid Triton Poker Series has gained momentum and we are seeing more and more star winners in very expensive events. One of the most successful American poker players Jason Koon traditionally does not miss the Triton series, and in Madrid he again showed an impressive result.

Jason managed to win the €150 000 buy-in Triton Madrid Event 13 Short Deck One Bullet and become a four-time Triton Poker event winner.

The American went through a field of 34 entries (which included 10 re-entries). As a result, for his victory, Koon earned €1 750 000 out of a total prize pool of €5 100 000.

The runner-up is also a well-known high roller Daniel Dvoress from Canada. Only eminent poker players got into the prize zone of this event. Isaac Haxton became third in the tournament with a payout of €760 000.

Canadian Sam Greenwood was next in fourth place with €580 000. American poker player Seth Davis became fifth in this tournament with a prize of €460 000. Last in the prizes was Dan Cates, who received a payout of €360 000.

In the final hand, Dvoress shoved his Q♠10♥, but it was an easy call for Koon with A♠A♣. Already on the flop of K♦-K♠-A♦ Jason got a full house and it became clear that he had won the tournament. They no longer looked at the board much, but hugged and congratulated each other for a good game.
