Jason Koon won bracelet in WSOP heads-up championship

​$25 000 heads-up championship finished at WSOP 2021. The top eight players out of 32 ones earned a part of $721 625. All those who won their match in 1/64 got back their buy-ins.

The semi-finals were as follows:

  • Jason Koon – Henri Puustinen
  • Daniel Zack – Gabor Szabo

Jason Koon and Gabor Szabo became the winners of these semi-finals. In the final, Koon fought against Gabor Szabo for the gold bracelet and GGPoker Ambassador became the champion.

On the way to his victory, Jason Koon won 6 heads-ups, and finally, he became the owner of WSOP bracelet. The decisive heads-up lasted over three hours and eventually Szabo went all-in with A-J and Koon called with A-Q. After that, Gabor had only two BB in his stack, so he couldn’t return to the game.
