Jason Somerville leaves Team PokerStars

In 2019, a large number of eminent poker players left the Team PokerStars, and 2020 also began with losses for Stars. On January 2, American poker player Jason Somerville announced his departure from the team of PokerStars ambassadors. Jason told about his intentions to leave PokerStars Team Pro by posting a video message on his Twitter page.

Somerville also wished his former colleagues good luck and said that their joint work and friendship mean a lot to him. The poker player didn’t reveal his future plans, but made it clear that he would work more actively in the field of sports betting.

In the poker community, Jason Somerville is often called the "Godfather of poker streams." The guy managed to establish his own interactive show Run it UP, which is his brand.

Throughout his career, Somerville has earned over $3 641 000 in live tournaments. His best result was the 4th place in the Super High Roller 2014 cost $100 000 in Las Vegas. Back then Jason won $1 327 300 in prize money.
