Jeremiah Williams wins WSOP Event #5 for $139 600

Jeremiah Williams 2021

The WSOP Online 2021 continued Monday night with the $1 000 NLHE 8-max (Event #5). The tournament attracted 459 participants, which allowed to form a prize pool of $648 700. It took Jeremiah Williams almost 10 hours of play to emerge victorious and win $139 600 along with a gold bracelet.

According to the Hendon Mob, Williams has earned over $150 000 throughout his entire career. To note, he has recently entered the $10 000 Wynn Millions prize zone at the Wynn Summer Classic series, Las Vegas. Now, the guy has a WSOP bracelet to add to his poker trophy collection and plenty of time to grab another one as the WSOP Online is still ongoing.

The top 90 players entered the ITM zone, including Chris Moorman ($3 179 for 34th place), Anthony Zinno ($2 789 or 41st place) and Phil Hellmuth ($2 011 for 67th).

Phil Hellmuth left the game during level 24 (5 000/10 000/1 000). He lost to a player with the "Pickitup" nickname, who hit two pair, which was enough to win. Seems like Hellmuth's "white magic" has not yet begun to work at full strength so far...
