​In the tribal casino of Seminole in Florida, the large series called Hard Rock Poker Open continues.

As part of this series, an expensive Seminole High Roller 02 tournament with an impressive $25 500 buy-in and $2 000 000 guarantee took place.

This event collected 91 entries and the total amount of entries beat the declared guarantee of tournament. As a result, the prize pool reached the mark of $2 247 700.

Joe McKeehen became the winner and earned $550 990 for the victory. Darren Elias finished as a runner-up and enriched with $539 130 of prize money. Apart from Thomas Boivin from Belgium (the third place with $285 460), the rest participants of the final table were from America.

In heads-up, the players decided to split prize money equally, by leaving $11 850 for raffling by means of shoving blindly.

McKeehen won the first all-in with 9♥-4♥ against Elias’ J♣-2♣ on board with J♥-8♦-7♥-7♥-10♦. Then, Q♦-7♦-6♠-10♦-K♥ were dealt on the board and McKeehen won the second all-in with J♣-3♦ against Elias' 5♣-3♣. As a result, he became the champion of tournament. In total, 13 players entered ITM zone and the minimum amount of prize money was $56 190.
