Kahle Burns takes down A$100 000 Challenge at Aussie Millions

Aussie Millions 2020

It is very important for any poker player to win a large high roller event in his/her country. For finishing first, the player receives not only significant prize money, but also recognition in his/her homeland.

Kahle Burns managed to do this in the A$100 000 Challenge at the Aussie Millions. Just the other day he entered the Australian Poker Hall of Fame, and last night, the guy proved that he had deserved it.

Over the past year, Kahle has won over $6 000 000 in live tournaments. In Australia, Joe Hachem is considered the most profitable poker player, and Burns is only $3 000 000 behind from Joe.

According to Kahle, it is the first Aussie Millions tournament he had won. The player also said that he had fantastic feelings about that victory.

Such eminent poker professionals as Alex Foxen and Bryn Kenney also fought for the victory at the final table. Bryn finished the game in the fourth place and took $400 000 in prize money.

Alex Foxen was able to reach the final heads-up, where he was opposed by the future champion Kahle Burns. The guys were fighting hard, and none of them wanted to concede. Burns was strengthening his advantage with every hand and eventually won the event.

During the last hand of the tournament, Foxen received A-9 and Kahle had A-10. As a result, Burns took down the event and was given $1 198 000 for the first place.
