Kara Scott Leaves 888poker Ambassador Role After a Successful 8 Years

Kara Scott

Kara Scott, a successful and popular poker player, TV presenter and journalist from Canada, announced on the last day of 2023 her decision to terminate her ambassador contract with the 888poker room.

Kara's name is closely associated with the eights, because their collaboration lasted almost eight years. She joined the room's team of professionals at the beginning of 2016, and since then has done a lot to develop the platform.

Scott concentrated on participating in live events sponsored by 888poker around the world, and also played in online tournaments. She created content for social networks and room channels, and even hosted her own podcast called "The Heart of Poker".

Kara not only felt great in front of the camera and interacting with other players, but she herself regularly demonstrated successful winning results at the tables. She almost managed to win the Irish Open Main Event, she made several deep runs in the WSOP Main Event, and became the champion of the Ladies Event in Barcelona.

Her parting with 888 can be called absolutely problem-free. Scott comments that she is incredibly grateful for these years of cooperation.

"My time with 888poker has been a real pleasure. They’ve always been supportive of me personally and my work and I have so much good to say about all the people I’ve worked with."
