Landon Tice became a runner-up of WSOP Online Event #18
On Sunday, WSOP Online 2021 held $1 000 tournament #18 and 524 players took part in it. In total, the event collected 756 entries, which allowed to form a prize pool of $692 000.
After nearly 11 hours of play, James Gilbert became the champion and earned $137 570, as well as a gold bracelet. Gilbert outplayed Landon Tice in heads-up, so Tice missed opportunity to be awarded with a bracelet.
Gilbert previously came close to the winning of WSOP 2017 bracelet (3rd place in Event #50: $1 500 NLH). This time, things turned out pretty good and he achieved success.

It is worth noting the following players who finished in the top 126 and got the payouts: Kristen Bicknell (12th place), Chance "bingsui" Kornuth (14th place), Ryan Riess (57th place) and others.
In the last hand of tournament, Gilbert entered the game with 10-K and beat Tice's K-8. As a result, Landon Tice became a runner-up.
