Luke Schwartz told about the battle with Phil Galfond
The Galfond’s Challenge continues, and therefore new details regarding its upcoming battles appear on the Internet. A few weeks ago, the WSOP bracelet winner Luke Schwartz suggested the Run it Once Poker owner to stop the fight against the online poker player Venividi1993. In response, Galfond said that he was not going to do that, noting that he intended to undertake the planned goals.
Some days ago, the partypoker Team Pro Jeff Gross organized a podcast, in which Schwartz described the conditions of his heads-up challenge against Phil:
- 5 000 hands in the discipline 8 Game;
- stakes – $1 000 / $2 000;
- $250 000 side bet for the winner of heads-up battle.
Both Galfond and Schwartz have recorded WSOP bracelets in similar events. Phil won the 2-7 Draw Lowball No-Limit Championship worth $10 000 at the WSOP 2015, and Schwartz became the champion of the same tournament in 2019.
