Michael Addamo Misses Out on Seventh Title in GGPoker's GGMillion$
Another regular $10,300 buy-in high-roller event ended last night at GGPoker room. There were 131 entries in the weekly GGMillion$ and the final prize pool was $1,310,000.
This event constantly attracts experienced professional players. This time at the final table it is worth noting such famous grinders as Michael Addamo, Justin Bonomo, David Peters.
At the start of the broadcast of the final nine, two professionals were among the chip leaders with stacks of about three million chips – Addamo and Bonomo. So many fans could bet that this particular couple would reach heads-up and fight head-to-head for the prestigious title.
However, Justin Bonomo did not even make it into the top five. His result was sixth place. And the key hand for him was a cooler against another Canadian specialist, Peters – aces versus kings preflop.
Addamo still did better, confidently going to heads-up confrontation with the much less experienced Minko. Unfortunately, in the second hand of the final duel, his opponent got lucky and made two pairs. The Australian had to settle for second place and take home $222,314 in prize money.
