Addamo acted according to the principle of Julius Caesar – "I came, I saw, I conquered". He was the chip leader of final table and managed to become the tournament champion.

For the victory in such an expensive event, Addamo received the largest payout in his career, namely $3 402 000. The successful American player Justin Bonomo became a runner-up and earned $1 890 000 for the second place.

In total, only three participant managed to get into ITM zone. Sean Winter was the last to get a payout of $1 008 000 for the third place.

The final hand started with Bonomo's raise with Q♠-10♠, but Addamo called with 7♦-2♦.

4♦-3♦-2♥ were dealt on the flop and both players decided to check. Q♦ appeared on the turn and brought flush for Michael, and top pair for Justin. Addamo made an overbet, but Bonomo called. The river with 10♣ gave Bonomo two pairs, but that didn’t help him to win. Michael went all-in and Bonomo called him. As a result, Justin finished second.
