Michael Addamo won Main Event at Australian Poker Open

Australian Poker Open series reached the end. Main Event with $100 000 buy-in finished and Michael Addamo became the champion. He earned $1 288 000 for the first place.

Michael became the first Australian player who won Main Event at Australian Poker Open. After the victory he said that the game was fantastic and he was very impressed.

In heads-up, Addamo fought against American pro Aaron Van Blarcum. In the final hand, the Australian player hit a flush which brought him a victory over the middle pair of Aaron Van Blarcum.  

Alex Foxen finished third, but despite this result, he got the title of the best player of the year in tournament poker for the second year in a row. The British poker player Stephen Chidwick took the 4th place. Also, he topped the leaderboard at Australian Poker Open 2020.
