Micro ME WPT Online champ was determined
The $109 Micro Main Event WPT Online at PartyPoker collected 8 500 registrations, which was not enough to cover the claimed guarantee. As a result, the tournament was carried out with $154 000 overlay, but this did not stop the poker players from fighting for a guaranteed prize pool of $1 000 000.
Many strong players entered the final table, but there was only one famous professional among them – PartyPoker Ambassador Patrick Leonard. Throughout his entire career, the guy has won more money than his eight opponents put together.
Despite that, Patrick was one of the first to leave the Micro ME. Leonard finished the event in eighth place and received a modest payout of $10 450.
It is worth noting the Danish girl Kim Heidemann, whose tight strategy proved to be justified. The girl made it to the final table with a short stack of 10BB but managed to double it five times and «outlasted» seven opponents.
In heads-up, Kim ran out of luck as she lost the first place to Luiz Antonio Silva from Brazil. In the last hand of the event, which eventually brought victory to the Brazilian, Kim and Silva moved all-in with almost identical hole cards, namely A-J, which differed in terms of the suits.

There were four spades on the board, which helped Luiz complete a flush as he had one spade in his hands. As a winner, Silva received $149 000 in prize money, while his opponent from Denmark took $105 000.
