CSOP founder Matt Stout explained why the Canadian poker player is an important person for such events:

“Daniel is the most popular person in poker for a reason. His passion and enthusiasm for poker, charity, and life, in general, are second to none. In fact, it's a big part of why I started the CSOP to begin with”.

According to the words of CSOP head, the presence of Negreanu on Board of Directors of their organization, as well as holding the tournaments by the Canadian poker player, can lead to the huge success of these events. As an example, Stout reminded of a tournament which was held by the Canadian player in March this year. That tournament collected $350 000 for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
