New documentary about Phil Ivey to be filmed at WSOP 2022
Few people in the poker community have not heard of American poker player Phil Ivey. He played poker as a teenager, using forged documents to hone his skills. Today, Ivey is a popular high roller with $37 085 800 in live tournament winnings under his belt.
He is often featured on various poker TV shows and never misses the opportunity to play in super high roller events with huge buy-ins where you can win six figures.
Behind the scenes, some players have already dubbed Phil the best player in the world and it is not surprising that at this moment appeared some people who are ready to capture his success in the cinema. A film has already been made about his Chinese accomplice Cheung Yin Sun. This film tells how Ivy and his friend won millions of dollars in various casinos, because of which some gambling establishments introduced a lifetime ban for them from playing.
Traditionally, Ivey visited this year's World Series of Poker tournaments to add another (11th) gold bracelet to his list of trophies.

In addition to playing in the WSOP 2022 tournaments, Phil was followed by a film crew, which slightly surprised the other participants in the series.
The situation was clarified by the post of one of the poker players, Kevin Mathers, on Twitter that a documentary was being made about Phil Ivey. In support of his words, Kevin posted the following photo in his post:
This announcement hung in the halls where the film crew was present.
This means that soon the poker community should expect the release of a documentary about the legendary poker player. Phil Ivey has not yet secured his next bracelet at the WSOP 2022, but managed to get into the money in the very first event.
