Online Pro Tamas Adamszki Triumphs as First Winner of EPT Prague 2023

EPT Prague 2023

These days the final stage of the 2023 European Poker Tour started in the capital of the Czech Republic, Prague. The first played tournament of the stage was the €10,200 NL Hold'em event. It brought together relatively few players – 35 participants in the fight for the precious PokerStars spade.

The Hungarian online grinder Tamas Adamszki took part in a live tournament almost for the first time and immediately won it. Tamas has been playing professionally in online tournaments for about ten years, and he finally decided to try to win the title offline. The good news for him was that this event did not bring together so many participants, because this made the path to the coveted first place easier.

However, the final table was quite strong: there were such poker series regulars as Niklas Astedt, Pablo Brita Silva and Bulgarian Yulian Bogdanov.

Adamszki beat Michel Molenaar from the Netherlands in a heads-up. 2023 is shaping up to be a very good year for Michel, and he was aiming for his third offline tournament win of the year here. But Tamas got in the way of these plans and took home the honorary trophy and €117,150 in prize money.

"It's my first try at live poker because I only played online for 10 years. This is the new challenge for me, to become a live professional."

In general, the final top-three results of the tournament look as follows:
