PartyPoker Ambassador wins one of her biggest prize money in career
January 17 became a great day for the PartyPoker Ambassador Dayane "Day" Kotoviezy as she took down the $530 Big Game on that day. The event attracted 452 participants that were fighting for their share of a $220 000 prize pool.
Dayane Kotoviezy is a professional female poker player from Brazil. In 2017, Day managed to become a winner of the women's tournament at the BSOP series. That year, she also entered the ITM zone at the WSOP 2017 three times. After that, she got noticed by PartyPoker so they signed a contract with her.
Dayane is trying to play as many expensive tournaments at PartyPoker as possible and the Big Game is no exception. The latest BG final table featured strong regular players like Diego Cuellar and Marton Czuczor, but they were only able to take seventh and sixth place, respectively.
Professional poker pro Joseph Cheong busted out of the tournament in fourth place and left Dayane vying against two Britons to determine who would reach a heads-up. As a result, PartyPoker ambassadors Dayane Kotoviezy and Paresh Doshi ended up in the final heads-up.
Day managed to gain the upper hand in the battle beating her opponent. Winning the event brought her $39 279 in prize money, which is one of her biggest winnings to date.
